On Monday, May 31, 2021, the opening of the exhibition Social Agriculture: Opportunity for Farmers took place on the roof of the National Agricultural Museum in Prague. The exhibition focused on social agriculture in the Czech Republic, its sustainability and usability as a tool for sustainable management, consists of twenty-one panels, devoted to social agriculture actors from practice, research and education, as well as state structures.
The introductory speech for about sixty invited guests was given by the General Director of the National Agricultural Museum, Ing. Zdeněk Novák, followed by Ing. Josef Tabery, Director of the Department of the Managing Authority of the Rural Development Program and assoc. prof. Ing. Jan Moudrý, Ph.D., from the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, who also presented the project trAEce and the connection of social agriculture with the social pillar of agroecology.
The exhibition was open in the Prague branch of the National Agricultural Museum until June 27, 2021, due to its traveling nature it will later move to the regions.
