Introduction of trAEce

trAEce - Agroecological Vocational Training for Farmers
project nº2019-1-HU01-KA202-060895

The trAEce project’s aim is to provide training tools for farmers and trainers, which will assist them in integrating agroecological principles into their agricultural practices. It is a new initiative that intends to advance the concept of agroecology as both a discipline and practice by pooling together the experience and expertise of 6 prominent institutions from 5 European countries (Hungary, Romania, Austria, Czech Republic and Portugal). The project partners will develop a country-specific situation analysis that will contribute to gaining a comprehensive view of the level of knowledge and opinion of farmers regarding agroecology-based activities, as well as identify related political discourses, regulations, actors, practices, networks, etc. Based on the situation analysis, an AE vocational training programme will be elaborated by the project team. The 6 module-training programme will outline topics that will help farmers design or transform their farms in line with AE principles and strive for social and environmental sustainability while at the same time maintaining the profitability of their agricultural activity. The curriculum will be accompanied by learning materials, including a user manual and short films designed for farmers and trainers. A methodological guide for trainers (opinion-leader farmers) and educators (teachers of farmers) will also be created during the project. Moreover, 7 pilot training events will be organised for farmers and trainers that will provide the opportunity to test the complete vocational training programme. A local adaptation strategy will be supported by communication tools as well as 4 focus group meetings that will provide systematic feedback throughout the project about the relevance and applicability of the outcomes to key stakeholder groups. The diversity of participants in other project-related events (5 events, including the final project conference) will ensure the dissemination and multiplication of project results at the international level and an additional opportunity to collect feedback.

In summary, our project vision is to provide tools to farmers and trainers to implement agroecological practices, including the social dimension, and disseminate this knowledge and experience to reach the wider farming community across Europe.

Projektbeschreibung „trAEce“
Projekt Nr: 2019-1-HU01-KA202-060895

A képzés kidolgozását négy magyar fókuszcsoport-találkozó támogatja.

trAEce - Agroecological Vocational Training for Farmers project
nº2019-1-HU01-KA202-060895

Rozmanitost účastníků dalších akcí souvisejících s projektem (5 akcí včetně závěrečné projektové konference) zajistí znásobení výsledků projektu na mezinárodní úrovni a příležitost získání zpětné vazby.

Stručně řečeno, naší projektovou vizí je poskytnout zemědělcům a školitelům nástroje k implantaci agroekologické praxe, včetně jejího sociálního rozměru, a šířit tyto znalosti a zkušenosti s cílem oslovit širší zemědělskou komunitu v celé Evropě.

trAEce – Formação Vocacional em Agroecologia para Agricultores
nº2019-1-HU01-KA202-060895
