With the slogan “Farmers – Custodians of the Earth’s Future”, the trAEce vocational training was launched on March 21st at the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences – MATE in Gödöllő.
At trAEce we are excited for the tremendous response from the local farmer’s community and high interest on the topic of Agroecology. From more than 75 applicants, 16 farmers were chosen to attend this free of charge training considering diversity, gender and motivations.
On the first day the group explored the complexity of agroecology from three perspectives: agriculture,
environment, society. In general, the feedback from the participants was positive and found the training interesting and useful, especially the videos of concrete experiences presented in the session.
We are looking forward to continuing the training, addressing the different elements of agroecology in diverse farms and with the best group of experts in the topic.
