The Agroecological Situation Analysis in Hungary 2020 has been published! We recommend this report to the Hungarian readers as the publication is in Hungarian. The purpose of the situation analysis is to investigate the concept of agroecology in Hungary. Our aim was to identify relevant international and national policies and support campaigns initiated by numerous non-governmental initiatives and research institutes which have relevance impacting the adoption of agroecological principles in farming practice. We also considered whether farmers receive sufficient support in the form of trainings, information and counselling to interpret and translate the sustainability objectives of international conventions and guidelines into their own farming practice.
